Prom Coast Arts Council Inc is a not-for-profit incorporated community organisation with the aim of promoting and elevating the arts in South Gippsland particularly and throughout the Gippsland Region in general.

Our membership is made up of professional and amateur artists and performers as well as lovers of art and performance. As a group, we facilitate and promote concerts, art shows and dramatic events. Our main activities are:

-The Great Southern Portrait Prize: portraits of Gippsland residents in any medium by artists from anywhere. Held at the Foster War Memorial Arts Centre in Foster

-Shift: exhibition of Prom Coast Arts Council members' work held at the Stockyard Gallery in Foster

-The Adam Murfitt Memorial Furniture Show : a biennial show hosted by PCA and run in conjunction with the Seachange Festival

-Mossvale Music Festival: in conjunction with Lyrebird Arts Council & Mirboo North Arts Council. An outdoor event featuring local and international musicians at Mossvale Park near Leongatha

-Occasional art bus tours to visit galleries in Melbourne or further afield

-Auspicing body for Arts Projects

-Occasional art forums
